After dinner we decided to give Angus his first bath. He seemed to like being in the water, perhaps that cos I enjoyed a bath too and had many while pregnant with him. Andy took photos as I carefully washed our precious little bundle of joy. After his bath we wrapped him up in this jungle towel and dried him off. He looked so small, he was so small. I was careful when drying him, scared to hurt him but he hardly made a peep. We sat on the sofa the three of us where Angus got daddy cuddles as we watched a movie. Angus didn't want to go into his basket and he had an unsettled night. He just wanted to be close to us and just wouldn't settle down. At midnight I stripped him down and spent sometime skin to skin with him as recommended by the midwives, we wrapped up in a blanket to keep warm, he settled and had a feed I managed to get him dressed again without a peep and put him in his basket to sleep. It was not to be 15 minutes later he wasn't a happy bunny. That night while daddy slept I caught 10 minutes sleep here and there as I held Angus in my arms, spoke to him and fed him trying to be of comfort to him.
